Ptujski Zapeljivec in service in Ptuj town centre

Following the example of Ljubljana's Kavalir, Ptuj now also has an electric vehicle that will carry many a tourist around the old town centre.

The electric vehicle will also make getting around easier for older people and people with reduced mobility. It will further improve mobility in the old town centre, both for tourists, who will have easier access to accommodation there, and for everyone else who wants to get from one end of the old town to the other more quickly. Together with the town bus, the electric vehicle is an environmentally friendly approach to mobility. Rides can be ordered by phone and, thanks to its low speed, the vehicle can also be flagged down while driving. Rides are limited to the old town centre and will be available every day between 9:00 and 17:00. Children under 12 may ride only when accompanied by a parent. We hope that many will leave their cars at home, come into town by bus and call Zapeljivec for quick errands.
