Pogrebno podjetje Maribor, together with the Council of Disabled People of the Municipality of Maribor, has launched the project “Disability-friendly cemetery”. The aim of the project is to give disabled people, people with reduced mobility and mothers with prams easier and friendlier access to and movement around the Pobrežje and Dobrava cemeteries. As part of this project, Pogrebno podjetje Maribor purchased an electric vehicle for carrying people, urns and wreaths during funeral ceremonies. It aims to improve mobility at the cemetery, use the limited space efficiently and encourage the use of ecological and energy-efficient means of transport.

The Attiva 8L.4 electric vehicle charges from an ordinary socket and has a range of up to 80 km (a single charge of 6 to 8 h costs just over €1 in electricity). The Attiva 8L.4 electric vehicle is quiet, produces no emissions and has low maintenance costs, as it needs no gearbox, starter motor, alternator, fuel tank, exhaust pipes or other such parts.
