Municipality of Piran now with the “Dostavko” electric delivery vehicle

The Municipality of Piran has decided to make it easier for residents to deliver goods and various materials with a homologated Italcar NEV electric delivery vehicle that can turn into almost any street.
With this decision, the Municipality of Piran has committed to sustainable mobility in the town of Piran. It followed the guidelines of the Adria MOVE IT project, “support to sustainable forms of mobility in coastal towns”. The project aims to promote sustainable mobility to improve quality of life in the Adriatic region and make transport more efficient and safer. The first in the series of electric vehicles is the Itlacar NEV L2C.2 electric delivery vehicle, designed to carry goods and homologated for road use. It is powered by a 5,5 Kw drive unit, reaches up to 40 km/h and has a range of up to 80 km, costing just over a euro.
With this acquisition, the Municipality of Piran aims to make it easier for residents to transport various materials from the outer car park to the town centre and other parts of town.
“Dostavko”, operated by JP Okolje, d. o. o., can be ordered by calling 031 391 922 every day from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 14:00. The user will agree the time and place of collection and delivery with the driver. As the municipality's aim is for “Dostavko” to serve residents and other users, as the project holder it will monitor the wishes, needs and suggestions of all user groups during the first phase and adapt the “Dostavko” service to them.
